A countryside campsite around the Þverárvöllur 9-hole golf course and the Hellishólavatn fishing lake in Fljótshlíð, about 10 km from Hvolsvöllur. It is open all year with electric hook-ups for up to 40 caravans and motorhomes, two bathhouses, laundry, a big children's playground, a hotel, cottages and the Hygge Restaurant & Bar. In winter only area G, by the reception and restaurant, is open, and there is no shared guest kitchen. Age limit 25 unless travelling with family.[6][4][3]
